Digital Bursting Strength Tester is used to check the bursting strength of fabrics, sheet, papers, etc.Bursting strength of a material is defined as the hydrostatic pressure required producing rupture of a material when the pressure is applied at a controlled increasing rate through a rubber diaphragm.Digital Bursting Strength Tester provides a hydraulic load under a rubber diaphragm of a specific area to test the burst strength of textile, paper, corrugated cardboard, carton box, card board, leather, cloth, synthetic leathers, etc.

How Digital Bursting Strength Tester works?

• Prepare the sample for test.
• Mount the specimen between two circular clamps.
• Tighten the specimen with the help of geared handle provided.
• Now apply the increasing pressure (hydraulic) by the handle (moving up and down) on the left side of the tester.
• The diaphragm is expanded till the specimen ruptures.
• The pressure reading is the Bursting strength in kg/cm2 of the given fabric.
